Check the capture before it leaves.
Screenshots can contain private messages, tokens, or customer data. Crop the image, then remove anything that shouldn't travel with it.

Scrozz is a screenshot and screen-recording app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Capture what you need, mark it up, and drag it straight into a chat, an issue, or a folder—no account or cloud required.
There is no paid tier, paywall, advertising, or trial. Scrozz is GPL-3.0, and its product decisions, platform limits, and tests are public too.
The interface and editor stay consistent across macOS, Windows, and Linux. Capture, permissions, shortcuts, and drag-and-drop use each operating system's real APIs.
Scrozz keeps each new shot at the edge of your screen until you copy, save, edit, pin, or drag it somewhere else.
Area, window, display, or a scrolling page—from one All-in-One picker or a shortcut that performs the exact action you use every day.
Every shot lands in a fixed slot. Hover to copy, save, mark up, or pin. Swipe it away and the cards above fall down—nothing jumps when a new one arrives.
Pick up a capture card and drop it into a message, an email, an issue, or a folder. The file materializes when the drop completes. No Save As. No hunting afterward.
Arrows, shapes, text, counters, highlights, blur, and pixelation remain editable when you reopen a capture from history. Redaction is different: it removes the pixels underneath for good.
Annotation and redactionRecord an area, window, or display to MP4 or GIF with system audio, microphone, camera, clicks, and keystrokes. Hide desktop icons while the recording runs, then trim the result.
Recording featuresRead text from an image, video frame, PDF, or webpage. Scrozz preserves line breaks, detects links, and reads QR codes on your device.
Text recognitionHistory and pinned references stay on your computer. Saving and sharing happen only when you choose a destination.
Screenshots, recordings, GIFs, and editable annotations.
