Rust source and reproducible build steps

Source

Before you download.

Platform permissions and packaging are deliberately straightforward.

Which Linux desktops are supported?

X11, plus GNOME and KDE on Wayland. Some desktop-controlled behavior differs between them; Scrozz tells you when the compositor owns a step instead of pretending it registered a shortcut.

Is there an installer?

No installer manager is needed. Download the build for your operating system and run it. On macOS, Scrozz asks for Screen Recording the first time you capture.

How do I verify a download?

Every release ships SHA-256 checksums next to its files. Compare the checksum, or build the same source yourself.

How do versions work?

Scrozz uses calendar versions such as 2026.8.28. The version tells you exactly when the build was made.
